Our sustainable business strategy
We base our core Business Strategy around the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), placing our business model in line with a global imperative to ‘leave no one behind’.
These goals are a concerted effort by the international community to address pressing issues such as climate change, unfettered energy consumption, inequality, health and wellbeing, and a lack of clean water and sanitation.
We know that we need to address them too, which is why we are a member of the UN Global Compact, signifying our commitment to adopting universal sustainability principles for the good of all.
In developing our Sustainable Business Strategy, we are undertaking a materiality assessment to find our most ‘material issues’ – those that play the biggest part in the work of our clients, investors, the governments we work with and our employees.
We are already contributing to each of the 17 SDGS outlined below and will focus our Sustainable Business Strategy around the SDGs where we can affect the most change. The goals we will be focusing on strategically over the next five years up to 2023 are:
